Timothy Spangler, Sr., chef & owner of Mezzogiorno, has been a restaurant go-to at Central Market for 7.5 years! Timothy has been a caterer for 25 years and still does a lot of catering outside of the restaurant (see catering info here). Timothy started his restaurant at Market when he was unemployed and anxious to get back to work and with 40 years spent in the kitchen, including helping his Italian Mother in the kitchen and as a Chef in many restaurants he was ready to be his own boss and venture out on his own.
Back in 1986 a retired Navy cook trained him how to make just about any soup during his first restaurant job and to this day he prides himself on his soups. Timothy loves food and loves making others happy through food and meeting his customers, so say Hi next time you stop in.
